I recently read an article and found a quote very inspiring. It had a lot of depth and seriousness. It has a deep meaning which makes you nod in agreement. Without much further ado, Let me tell you the quote:
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. – Margaret Mead
If you have ever worked towards a change in your personal life, you probably know what it takes.
Being a woman, I can relate the quote in the context of equality because ultimately that is a change which this world needs badly.
We know how the world treats women but we also know what our hearts want.We know where we had been but we also know where we want to be.We recognize our fears but we also know how to fight them.
And to bring that change, it requires constant commitment from us. It requires faithfulness of the sort which leaves humans in awe.
That change seeks the truthfulness in us. It thrives on our willingness and dedication.
We are those committed citizen who can change the world, by making tiny impressions on many hearts. We need to show up every time no matter what and We need to act accordingly.
Because, in the end, that is what matters.
