Quit – #AtoZChallenge

She remembered the date. Exactly 11 years ago, she played her first lottery. She always liked to try new things and this was something new for her. Months after months, subscription after subscription, she kept playing.

Her hope of winning a jackpot one day kept her enthusiasm alive. It was just a game back then but today it became an addiction. She was hooked to it. As if winning a jackpot was the only thing remaining in her life.it was like a hobby.

“I have just enough money left to survive. I promise myself not to play anymore this month”, She mumbled to herself while walking on the street.
“But maybe you could play one more time. Maybe you would just win the jackpot this time.”, Her inner voice said and she entered the shop to buy the ticket.

She was definitely no quitter. She couldn’t even quit the addiction for few minutes.
