He came home after a week. It was a work trip. The project was important for his company and thankfully, meetings with the stakeholders went really well.
He missed her as much she missed him. Perhaps she missed him more as she didn’t leave him for a minute since he stepped into the house. She was all over the place, staring at his happy face, ushering her selfless love. She took his car keys away and hid it somewhere under the sofa. Her eyes were smiling as she was looking at his face.
Happiness was truly an understatement for her. The feeling was something more than happiness and it was only visible on Molly’s face.
Molly was his labrador.
