Dreams That Touch a Chord! #MondayMusings

I have always been a dreamer. My dreams are not bound to the time of day. I dream with my open eyes and while my eyes are closed, dreams are often taking me to places unseen and events unknown.

Sometimes my dreams leave me thinking about it for long. The vividness is so wonderful that it feels like a movie. Though, at times, I can’t understand the peculiarity of my dreams and that leave me restless. Yesterday, I saw two dreams back to back and both were quite contrary to each other.

First one went like this. I visited my school with my mom and brother. I saw my teachers who used to be very fond of me and whom I liked very much. To be precise, I saw, Ranjana mam (my science teacher), Sharda mam (my Hindi teacher) and Ranjana Mam (my maths teacher). They handed a diary to my mother. It had a hand written sweet note about me on the first page. They told my mother about me being a good student. My brother was awestruck by all this ( Just made this up ;))

After this dream, I remember watching another dream which went like this. I was in a class (looked more like engineering) with my best friend N. And then, in front of whole class, a teacher asked N to not sit with me as I wasn’t a good student. She said all sorts of things which for my academic record, no teacher ever told me and then all of a sudden I was awake with this not-so-pleasant dream.

It kept me bewildered for a while. Why did I see two dreams which were opposite to one another? I couldn’t find an answer. First dream was so happy that I remember watching myself smiling and second was kind of gloomy that I remember being sad.

In order to know why I was being scolded (without any mistakes), May be tonight I should try to see the last dream again. If I get to know, there will be another post about it.

What does your dream tell you?

I often dream in movie like dreams too! Sometimes they stop at a certain part one night, and seem to pick up where they left off the next night. I seem to dream a lot about war type scenarios where I can see the planes flying low overhead or I'm underground with people trying to get away. I'm often searching for things for other people as well…… strange!

So interesting. I wonder what your dreams are telling. Some lessons to be learnt, maybe?

Interesting. Did you get to see the extension of your dream the next night? I am being curious.

That's a good thing if your dreams start where it ended last night. At least, you know the whole scene 😉

The searching things part sounds interesting.

Thanks for dropping by Corinne. I tried to analyse my dreams but without any luck. Hopefully, someday I would learn to understand my dreams better.

First of all, welcome to my blog Anamika. Unfortunately, I didn't see the follow-up dream. Interestingly, next dream was about my work place and colleagues:)

    Hope to see you around!
